Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Culturas Perú Viajes y Servicios S.R. Ltda. Before submitting your reservation request, please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these conditions.
1. Reservation Procedure
To process your reservation, please fill out the reservation request form and contact us with the following information:
- Selected tour or travel package
- Travel Dates
- Complete personal details of each participant

2. Reservation Confirmation
Once we receive your completed reservation request form, we will check availability and send you a booking confirmation.
3. Payments
A 50% deposit of the total amount is needed to secure your reservation.
- Upon reservation or up to 61 days before departure:
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total price is due. The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
- Full payment is due immediately for bookings made within 60 days of departure.
Your confirmation will include online payment instructions.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@culturasperu.com, with a copy sent to reservas@culturasperu.com.

Additional conditions:
- Not paying will automatically cancel your reservation.
- If Culturas Perú must cancel a departure due to availability or reasons beyond our control, we will issue a full refund of the amount paid to Culturas Perú.
- Itineraries may be changed due to weather, delays, illness, strikes, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. Any extra costs resulting from these changes are the participant's responsibility.
- No refunds will be given for unused services, accommodations, meals, transportation, or any part of the program, nor after the trip has started.
5. Travel Insurance (Recommended Requirement)
Travel insurance is highly recommended and should include at least:
- Trip Cancellation and Interruption
- Accidents and Medical Emergencies
- Emergency evacuation and repatriation
- Lost or delayed luggage
Insurance is not included in our travel programs.
6. Responsibilities of the Participant
Participants are responsible for:
- Inform Culturas Perú of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications beforehand.
- Choosing an itinerary that suits their physical abilities and personal interests.
- Preparing thoroughly for trekking or high-altitude adventures.
Culturas Perú reserves the right to remove a participant from a tour if:
- The participant has not paid the full program balance prior to departure, or
- The participant is unable to complete the chosen program physically or mentally.
If a participant cancels the trip for any reason, they will be responsible for all additional expenses, and no refunds will be issued.
7. Limited Liability
Culturas Perú Viajes y Servicios S.R. Ltda. functions as a local operator and trip coordinator and is not liable for events outside its direct control.
Culturas Perú will not be responsible for:
- Accidents, illness, injury, or death
- Loss, damage, or theft of luggage or personal belongings
- Transportation delays or cancellations (trains, flights, buses, etc.)
- Natural disasters or severe weather events
- Civil unrest, strikes, or government actions that impact travel plans
- Services offered by third-party providers such as airlines, hotels, transportation companies, and other independent contractors.
By booking, the participant acknowledges that traveling in remote areas and adventure settings involves inherent risks.
8. Participation Agreement & Liability Waiver
By confirming participation in any program, the traveler agrees to the following:
- I understand that outdoor adventure activities (hiking, trekking, expeditions, rafting, horseback riding, biking, and others) carry inherent and unforeseen risks that can result in injury, emotional distress, paralysis, death, or property damage.
- I understand that traveling may involve risks related to mountains, high altitude, jungles, rivers, rugged terrain, wildlife, climate, transportation by boat, plane, vehicle, train, or animal, limited medical care, and remote evacuation.
- I voluntarily accept and assume all risks involved with participating in these activities.
- I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Culturas Perú Viajes y Servicios S.R. Ltda., its owners, directors, guides, and employees from any claim or legal action arising from my participation in any activity or from the use of Culturas Perú's equipment or facilities.
- I certify that I have sufficient personal insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer; otherwise, I agree to accept full financial responsibility for such injury or damage.
- I certify that I am in good physical and medical condition for the selected program or that I voluntarily accept all risks related to my condition.
9. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the deposit and/or signed booking contract confirms that the traveler:
- Has read and understood the Terms & Conditions.
- Accepts all provisions of the Limited Liability and Participant Risk Agreement.
- Agrees to follow safety instructions and decisions made by the trip leader and staff.
